A computer game featuring turkeys standing in for the “fake news media” was published by Kyle Rittenhouse on Thursday. Proceeds from the game go to a fund set up to fight media organizations for defamation, reports Gateway Pundit.
The money from the game will go to Rittenhouse’s Media Accountability Project, a campaign he initiated to sue multiple media sites for defaming him by publishing stories about his conduct during the 2020 riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
In a tweet, Rittenhouse stated that the goal of his new video game is “to fight back against the fake news.”
Rittenhouse introduces himself in a video advertising his newest online game by saying, “Hi. Kyle Rittenhouse here. You may remember me from the Kenosha self-defense trial, where I was recently found not guilty on all counts. I didn’t do anything incorrect from the start. However, that didn’t stop the media from defaming me.
It’s time to combat the fake news mill, he declared.
“I’m launching because of this,” The video game Kyle Rittenhouse Fake News Turkey Shoot. The media is nothing more than a group of crooks that have nothing better to do than spread lies and ruin the lives of innocent people, the adolescent concluded.
So, he said, “Go to RittenhouseGame.com and place your pre-order right away and help me FUND the litigation to stop these phony news turkeys!
The game was developed by Mint Studios. On Rittenhouse’s website, it is offered for sale for $9.99.
The primary character in the game is an animated representation of the adolescent, who shoots up turkeys with labels like “Fake News” and “MSDNC,” a nickname for MSNBC used by conservative politicians and news outlets. When previous President Trump occupied the White House, the network’s mocking renaming first appeared.
Mint Studios CEO Mint Chip told the Washington Examiner, “We had to step in to help Kyle after we saw what was done to him.”
After killing two white men and wounding a third in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Rittenhouse, 19, was found not guilty in November of last year. The shootings happened amid the demonstrations and rioting that broke out when a local white police officer shot and killed Jacob Blake, a black man.
